A comical look back at two ACM Animated Screen demos created in 1989 for a Corrosion Conference held in Manchester, UK.

These animations were originally created before Microsoft Windows took hold and most PC users were still using MS-DOS based programs. The screen mode for these GIF's is CGA mode, 320x200 resolution and 4 colors.   The animation was a simple slideshow, designed to attract viewers to our stall.   These slideshows were converted to animated GIF's in the early 2000's after being found on 3.5 inch floppy disks.

Technology has marched on quite a bit since then, although the message hasn't changed much.
